The kind of impact I want to create
Not viral moments. Not follower counts. Something quieter and more lasting - products, ideas, and people that continue after you.
I think about impact a lot.
Not in the way you might think. Not in terms of audience size or public recognition. More in terms of: what does it mean for a person to do something that matters?
My current honest answer
I want to build things that help real people with real problems. Products, tools, notes, ideas.
I want to be someone my family is genuinely proud of - not because of career status but because of character.
I want to contribute to conversations about building, thinking, and living better - in ways that are honest rather than performative.
That is actually it. It sounds simple. It is not easy.
What I am trying not to chase
Impact measured only in public metrics - followers, views, coverage.
The kind of success that requires you to become someone you do not respect.
Recognition at the cost of honesty.
The honest question I sit with
If I removed all external feedback loops - no analytics, no likes, no validation - would I still be doing what I am doing?
If yes, that is probably real work. If I am not sure, that is useful information.
I do not always pass that test. But asking it keeps me honest.
